Grand Prairie Veterinary Diagnostics
Fast Results for Fast Treatment
Your pets can’t tell us what’s wrong or what’s hurting them. Instead, our Grand Prairie veterinary team at 303 Animal Clinic relies on the latest technology to diagnose what’s ailing your pet. We use a variety of tools to help us diagnose your pet quickly, so that we can get your pet back on all fours just as fast.
Our diagnostic tools aren’t just for sick pets. We also use our diagnostic technology to help us understand your pet’s normal health baseline when we conduct regular wellness exams. Knowing what your pet’s normal condition is like is extremely beneficial when your pet isn’t feeling well. It allows us to pinpoint what in their health has changed and helps us get to a diagnosis, and then treatment, faster.
We’ll help you get a full picture of your pet’s health. Call (972) 636-4838 to make an appointment for a wellness exam.
Diagnostic Testing at 303 Animal Clinic
Because your pets can’t talk to us, we have to rely on technology to help us get a full picture of your pet’s health. We are proud to use the latest technologies to evaluate your pet’s health both inside and out. Once we have a full picture, we’ll be better able to treat your pet quickly.
Diagnostic testing services available at 303 Animal Clinic:
- On-site laboratory
Our on-site laboratory enables us to conduct our own tests like bloodwork or urinalysis instead of sending out samples for testing. This means that your pet’s samples get tested more quickly and results are delivered back to you faster. When your pet is suffering, every second matters.
We also use our in-house laboratory to run tests for your pet as part of our regular wellness checks. We’ll often suggest bloodwork or urinalysis in conjunction with your pet’s checkup so that we can continue monitoring your pet’s health as part of our preventative approach to your pet’s medical care.
Radiological imaging, like X-rays and ultrasounds, are another important tool in our arsenal of diagnostic technologies. They give us a literal view into what’s going on inside of your pet. X-rays enable us to see the solid or dense parts of your pet’s body, like bones and muscles, and ultrasounds enable us to inspect soft tissues, plus, they're safe for use in monitoring pregnancy. All of these diagnostic services provide us with insight into your pet’s overall health that a regular wellness exam may not cover. Whether your pet is feeling under the weather or is just visiting us for a regularly scheduled checkup, diagnostic testing will help us determine what your pet needs in order to live their healthiest life.
